Fully Licenced Mornington Childcare Centres and Facilities
Our purpose-built Childcare in Main Street Mornington has ample space, with room for 73 children per day. We have several age-centric play areas available within the grounds, with a brand-new playground, vegetable gardens, pirate ship, slides, and chicken coop, allowing multiple opportunities for sensory play. Our full-time cook serves nutritious meals, introducing new and exciting foods that develop healthy eating habits.
We recently renovated and refurbished our daycare at Parwan Street Mornington to provide a homely atmosphere in a boutique-sized early learning environment. We love creating a wonderful environment for families with children experiencing childcare for the first time or who prefer a smaller, more intimate environment.
Our aim to develop an educational environment that acts as a natural extension of your child’s home is reflected in our positive introduction to childcare. The Little Grasshoppers Group Early Learning and Childcare ethos extends across the Mornington Peninsula. We also have centres at the Coolstores in Moorooduc and Eramosa Road in Somerville. As the time to launch draws near, our excitement grows to open our new Mount Eliza Centre in late 2023.

Mornington Childcare History – Little Grasshoppers ELC
Our childcare on the Mornington Peninsula has a significant history, founded by mother of two Kaye Ellis, a pioneer in early childhood education. Kaye set out to introduce an educational-based experience that also addressed and reduced the anxieties of families leaving their children for the first time. Engendering warmth and communication between staff, families, and children, at Little Grasshoppers, we believe we have achieved Kaye’s vision thanks to our far-reaching experience.
